VERY CURLY FRIDAY UPDO

Perm rod set achieved on two strand twists. I installed the perm rods overnight but it was a bit uncomfortable for sleep and so i took them out in the middle of the night.

I rolled each twist on a perm rod. i used the red ones because i didnt want my curls too small. I aired dried and so i had no use for the heat protectant. But if you use the hooded drier or a hand drier please make sure you apply a heat protectant.

i spritzed my entire hair with water (not soaking wet but slightly damp). I applied a little bit of gel for hold

This was my springboard, my starting point. I had my hair in 8 big two strand twists the previous day. All i did was to further split each twist into 3 smaller twists.

I applied a bit of Organic Argan Oil from the Sheabutter Cottage ( Please call this line for products from the Sheabutter Cottage - Ghana 0208304396) to my hands and then proceeded to unravel (separate) each twist

I love updos and considering how busy my day was going to get i gathered my hair up and away from my neck

My edges didnt get left out of the action. I wasnt aiming for a sleek look. A messy but cute updo was what i set out to achieve.

This style can be suitable for a wedding, a party, graduation. You can spritz the edges with a bit of water, apply a little gel and with the palm of your hairs lay the baby hairs down (you may use a hair brush to smooth back the hairs but be gentle with it) for a super sleek look. For work just tuck the ends with bobby pins.
